Margaret McElroy has been a channel for Maitreya, her teacher from the world of spirit, since 1992 and was invited to channel Maitreya to a Spiritual Group within the United Nations in 1999. She established the Maitreya website in 1996 as a means for Maitreya to share his teachings to assist and educate humanity. The website has a viewing audience that spans 140 countries.

In October, 2004, Alan and Margaret started their path together, first in New Zealand, then Australia, and finally in Seattle where they live. Alan has always had a thirst for the metaphysical. Before marrying Margaret, he spent many years studying various forms of spirituality, but the teachings of Maitreya resonate with him as no other. He now devotes his life to helping Margaret “touch the world with Maitreya’s teachings one soul at a time.”
