“The Power of Illusion” with Maya

The Power of Illusion will gently explore the following areas with the listeners:

• Seeing through illusion to embrace truth in our lives
• Releasing fears and self-sabotaging actions
• Waking up our power lying dormant within
• Manifesting the life we desire from a place of fearlessness

As a devoted student of life, Maya has first hand experience in seeing through illusion and how it can masquerade as truth, deceiving us into a false sense of security.

Maya’s journey was in finding her strength while walking through great challenges for 30 years of her life. She found peace in embracing her shadow-self, namely arrogance, pride, jealousy, depression, rage and low self esteem. Her path was discovering love and compassion for her “stuff” whereby enabling her to stand alone without the neediness for others approval.

Maya will explore with listeners the techniques to release fears, embrace faith, discover our strength to take care of ourselves, and step into love. Along the way, social issues in America and rest of the world will be addressed to help make this world a better place – one day at a time.

About Maya

Maya is devoted to releasing all fears and living in truth 100%. She lived 29 years in the hamster wheel of life, righteously blaming the world for all her suffering. Epiphany struck at age 30 when she was led to wonderful spiritual teachers and was firmly asked to look deep within. Change simply happened due to her determination to release all limiting thoughts and actions.

Quoting Maya, “The journey through the last 8 years of deep spiritual inquiry was not easy. It was filed with tremendous resistance to change. It was filled with denial to see core shadows within, namely - arrogance, pride, jealousy, constant negative judgments, rage, depression and lack of self love. Through my darkest shadows, I discovered love. Love blooms when we embrace this illusion, our shadows, which earlier prevented the divine knowing and love from taking residence within. It is a love that loves without any neediness and moves fearlessly with a higher purpose.”

Maya is a spiritual teacher and a computer engineer who has worked in Corporate America for the last 10 years as Technical Lead and Project Manager. She currently lives in San Jose with her 13 year old son. She enjoys romance, food, painting, nature, dancing, Project Management, writing and empowering people to release fears and discover their power.
