Dõv spend many years traveling the world to study different spiritual philosophies under several masters. As deeply spiritually connected as he became, he also became equally frustrated. Even though he could understand the “seven spiritual rays”, “the Akashic Records”, “out of body experiences” and just about every strange area of the spiritually fringe community, he could not see the practical, real world application of this wisdom. In fact Dõv realized that he became a reflection what annoyed the heck of him… He was informed, not transformed. It was his commitment to discovering what creates transformations that lead him to develop many workshops, seminars and multiple learning systems. It is that practical application that has given us “The Accidental Guru” talk show.

        
Dõv was born in the UK in the late 1950’s and even as a child he became fascinated with the undercurrent of human psyche. By the time he was twenty-one he had left his home country to travel and study many spiritual philosophies under a variety of spiritual masters. In June 1990 while free climbing in British Columbia, at approximately 120 feet, Dõv reached for a rock that dislodged a bigger rock. This rock hit him in the face and sent him hurling onto the jagged rocks below. It was a tragic moment, a moment that might have ended his life, and in fact, in some ways it did.  Now he describes that moment like this, “On that day I fell 120 feet from a self-imposed pedestal and landed on my ego.”  It was the end of the person he had been and in many ways the birth of “The Accidental Guru.”
