Laurie will share the stories of two very Amazing Children and how they learned to release traumatic experiences and become Happy again. One of these children was 5 years old when his mother contacted Laurie. His father had just died suddenly. This little boy was so very sad, so very angry. You will hear the story of how his life transformed and how he went on to teach other little children the practices that made him a Happy child again. The other child, an 11 year old boy, suffered injuries due to an accident. His father contacted Laurie, and this boy also had a Life-Changing experience during the session. Now, he is Happy! He feels Safe in his body! Strong on his own two feet!
Laurie assures you that Amazing things can be done...everyone experiences trauma...being born is traumatic! As you go through life, your sensitive feelings are hurt constantly...All of these past experiences accumulate...the situation happened once...it is over...and yet unless it is cleared...energetically cleared...you are not free...your attention is distracted by repetitive thinking. Laurie calls this "looping"...same thoughts around and around...these become fixations in your brain...a habit pattern. It is enough that the situation happened...It happened Once...in the Past...maybe a minute ago...maybe many years ago...It happened in the Past...and yet still with you. So, Now You Know...These traumatic things can be cleaned up...cleared out...Bright and Shiney...You Are!!

The Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776...updated a bit! "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all men, women and children are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
These profound words must have been given by the Divine. In reading these words, now, it seems to Laurie that this message does not belong just to Americans. This message speaks to a Universal Common Thread that includes our entire Humanity...Worldwide...every Man, Woman and Child living on this Earth.

Susan has a Master's Degree in Education. She is retired after teaching for 22 years in the public school system. Susan taught very "special" children, and she says it was often quite challenging, which was the very reason she enjoyed it so much. “I have had IBS for more than thirty years, beginning in childhood, although I was undiagnosed for the first six years (and told by my pediatrician to “quit whining” as the pain was “all in my head”). I had no choice but to try and learn how to control the disorder on my own, which took many years of (often excruciating) first-hand experience and a great deal of research.
I’m now a health and special diet cookbook author with a particular interest in helping others with bowel disorders. I have also developed the Heather’s Tummy Care line of certified organic medical foods for preventing and relieving IBS symptoms.
My work includes Eating for IBS, the only explicit dietary guide and cookbook for people with bowel disorders. Eating for IBS then led to my second book, The First Year: IBS, a comprehensive view of the disorder and every way to successfully manage it. Together, these works have become the two best-selling, best-reviewed IBS books in America. I also created and hosted the digestion-friendly cooking show Heather Cooks! for television and DVD.
My writing has led to an ongoing Canadian clinical research study of the groundbreaking dietary guidelines in Eating for IBS; this work also led to my inclusion in the 4th edition of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. An Amazing and Inspiring show, the sharing of a Miraculous True Story! Please join Laurie and her two Guests, Art and Allison Daily, co-authors of the memoir "Out of the Canyon: a True Story of Loss and Love".
In 1995, Art Daily's wife and their two young sons died in a freak accident when a boulder dislodged and fell from a canyon wall in Aspen, Colorado...crushing them in their car. Though Art survived, in an instant his life was irrevocably changed.
A few years prior...in Austin, Texas Allison Snyder lost her brother to a tragic suicide two months before she was to get married. After her marriage ended in divorce, Allison headed to Aspen for the winter and heard about Art's family and decided to reach out. She sent him a note...describing her own struggle with sudden tragedy...signing it simply: "a friend". She also created a music mix from artists she listened to during her own grieving process in the hope that it would help Art to heal.
Because she sent the note anonymously, Allison was amazed Art managed to find her and after a few phone conversations the two decided to meet...beginning an amazing chain of experiences including the recognition of true soul mates and a loving bond with the dead. Via Allison's visions, Art's deceased wife Kathy and their sons, Tanner and Shea guided and comforted Art and Allison through the early years of building their relationship continuing to this day. The book details this intense and fiercely protective connection of the living and the dead and in fact, Allison and Art credit Kathy, Tanner and Shea with the writing of the book.
What's also wonderful about this couple is the time they spend giving back to their community and the world. Not only is this couple very down to earth and happy...they are flourishing! They've been married 10+ years, have two beautiful boys and lead full, happy lives. Allison and Art will tell you they couldn't have done it without the love and support of Kathy, Tanner and Shea.
